Controlling Minions

In some leagues, you may control a group of minions. Minions all play from one hand of cards. This makes them a bit different from regular adventuring characters, who each have their own hand. Here are some useful things to know when controlling minions:

  • Minions all move when you play a Move card from that group’s hand.
  • When you play an Attack, Assist, or Utility card, you must first choose which minion will act using that card.
  • Minions may only take one action (attacking or otherwise acting) per round. Once they have acted, they are shaded gray and cannot attack or be used to instigate another action that round. Gray minions can still move.
  • The number of cards a group draws is dependent on how many are alive in that group. As minions are killed, their group will draw fewer cards.
