Entropy Wars

 

Entropy Wars is a chaotic fixed deck league wherein you control three adventurers in the Caverns of Chaos and you’re fighting against another entropic adventuring party on a randomly generated battlefield. Your party in each battle will consist of three randomly selected characters from a pool of 24. Each character has its own pre-constructed deck to ensure that the battles are fair (on average!) and there’s no need to do any deck-building yourself.

Win Entropy Wars simply by taking victory points. You can win victory points by claiming victory squares, or by killing your opponent’s characters.

While the rules are simple, though, the battles themselves will be anything but. With four possible battlefields and literally thousands of possible teams, no two games of Entropy Wars will be the same. Embrace chaos and defeat your opponent with whatever tools are available to you!

Structure

Entropy Wars has small pods, with only five players per pod. That means a new pod will kick off for every five players who join and you’ll be ranked against the other four players in your pod.

Each instance of this league will be open for entries for an hour and a half and then run for another hour and a half with a maximum of four scoring games to be played in that time period (you can play more for fun and multiplayer chest rewards). To keep things moving along, each battle will only allow 15 minutes per player (instead of the normal 20 minute clock).

Prizes

League prizes include magnificent and epic chests as shown in the table below. You’re guaranteed a chest prize in this league regardless of how many games you win. It’s a great way to turn gold into epic or rare items!
