@Vholes - Looking at the overall stats, it does seem like as long as the people at the top remain active, there won&#039;t be much competition for them (outside of their bracket) just because the people who might try to crawl up to the top didn&#039;t make the rating chart one or two weeks. That&#039;s certainly an interesting emergent flaw in the system, thanks for pointing it out.]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[The top 20 average season standings is only based on the rankings of the top 20 players each week. If you end up in position 21 for a week (say 5 points behind #20), your rating for season average purposes that week is 0 (1600+ points behind #20).

This is why, on the average season chart, there are ~400-point jumps after #9, #12, and #16. This reduces competition and makes upsets much less likely (especially toward the end of the season, if any of the top 9 players continue to make top 20 each week.)

I suggest the compilers of season 2 charts record the rankings of the top 40 or 50 players each week and use those to calculate average season ratings.]]></description>
